4. Zion National Park
Zion National Park in Utah is a short 2 hours from Antelope Canyon, and offers some of the very best hikes in the United States. 5. Las Vegas
Vegas baby! Just 2 ½ hours from Zion is Sin City. After all of that hiking and exploring, it is time to treat yourself to a night on the town. Enjoy some amazing food at a gourmet restaurant, try your luck in the casinos, take in a show, or just relax by the pools.
6. Joshua Tree
This will be your longest stretch of driving, lasting over 3 hours, but the drive through the scenic Mojave National Preserve is worth it for the expansive views of the desert. Your destination is Joshua Tree, a desert park known for its famed funky “Joshua Trees”.
7. Anza-Borrego Desert
Just 1 ½ hours from Joshua Tree is Anza-Borrego Desert Park. If you happen to come to Anza-Borrego Desert during March and April, prepare to be awed by the abundance of wildflowers that explode into bloom.

Around 2 hours from Anza Borrego is a wonderful casino and travel center to spend the night. Golden Acorn Casino and Travel Center offers food, gambling, and fun, along with scenic views and hikes in the nearby Campo Mountains.
9. San Diego
1 hour from Golden Acorn sits “America’s Finest City”, San Diego. Go hang out with lions, tigers, and bears at the world-famous San Diego Zoo, or just relax on some of the best beaches in America.
